SummerCrest offers exciting academic programs combined with enrichment activities — in a camp setting. Too often summer programs are designed merely to entertain. Young learners are tremendously curious. Our program takes this curiosity and uses it to nurture academic growth through hands-on learning activities.
Our Staff – Credentialed Teachers
Our staff is made up of professional educators with elementary school teaching experience. Our teachers will make summer learning fun and will take a personal interest in your child.
Prevention of Summer Learning Loss
Our classes with instruction by our staff of professional teachers reinforce skills learned during the school year. Three months away from active learning is too long!
Transition to Kindergarten
Children entering Kindergarten in the fall may attend SummerCrest. Becoming familiar with an elementary school setting, engaging in learning activities, experiencing school success, and possibly even meeting future classmates all support a smooth transition to kindergarten.
Personal Development & New Friends
Our 3-week sessions allow for development of camp solidarity and feeling of belonging – and time to make new friendships.
Students may attend SummerCrest in the morning only, in the morning and part of the afternoon, or all-day. Extended day care is also available.
New learning experiences, discovery, laughter, games, outdoor play, and new friendships are all part of SummerCrest.
